The Fort Worth Business Assistance Center (BAC) is a one stop resource that helps entrepreneurs start, grow, and develop their business by creating and delivering workshops, programs, and events for emerging and established small businesses.

The Fort Worth Business Assistance Center (BAC) opened its doors in 1995 through a public/private partnership with the City of Fort Worth and the BAC Education Foundation.

Comprised of nine service providers, the BAC provides:

  • free start-up counseling
  • assistance with your business plan
  • free or low-cost workshops on taxes, SBA loans, legal issues and more
  • SBA 504 and other loan assistance

The BAC also hosts a Business Information Center (BIC) which has a well-stocked library of small business guides and reference materials for just about every area of small business development. The BIC houses a computer lab that allows registered clients to use some of the latest software to complete their business plans, make brochures, type documents, scan pictures and more.

Need help or guidance with your business? Schedule an appointment with one of our Business Advisors. They're here to provide the help you need. The BAC offers our clients FREE private & confidential counseling services on an array of topics including; how to write your business plan, marketing your business and how to obtain certifications. In order to be considered a client, you will have to attend one of our workshops or you have the option of paying a one-time $25.00 fee for the first counseling session
